Terms of Service

Draft pending counsel review (spec §21). These terms govern membership of Memory Traders, a DBA of ITAD Authority.

  1. Eligibility. Members are businesses in the United States or Canada. Each organisation verifies its identity before trading.
  2. Accounts and seats. The organisation is responsible for every user it seats.
  3. Listings. Sellers warrant that lots are described accurately, that photos show the actual pieces offered and that they hold title.
  4. Bidding. A bid is a binding offer. Winning bidders pay within the payment window. Defaults carry strikes and may lead to a ban.
  5. Protected payment. Buyer funds are held by the platform and released to the seller after the buyer confirms receipt or the confirmation window lapses. This is a platform service, not an escrow arrangement.
  6. Fees. Published on the Pricing page and snapshotted on each sale.
  7. Disputes. Handled under the dispute process on the Trust & safety page. Decisions by the platform are final within the platform.
  8. Suspension. We may suspend or ban organisations for misrepresentation, non-payment or abuse.
  9. Liability. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to fees paid for the transaction in question.
