For buyers
Shipping and FedEx
Every order ships on a FedEx label the platform issues to the seller once the payment has settled. The buyer picks the service and pays it at cost; the parcel is insured where the value requires it, tracked on both sides, and signed for on delivery.

Labels through the site
The seller never buys a label and the buyer never chases one.
The buyer picks a service at checkout
FedEx Ground, 2Day or Priority Overnight, rated live for the ship-from and ship-to addresses on the two accounts. The price is the carrier’s, passed through at cost.
The payment settles
Only then does the platform create the label: from the seller’s ship-from address to the buyer’s verified ship-to address, declared value equal to the hammer price.
The seller packs, photographs and ships
Within 2 business days. The packed-box photo uploaded before marking the order shipped is the seller’s evidence in any count or damage dispute.
Both sides watch the same tracking
Carrier scans update the order page; a direct signature is required on delivery. The delivery scan starts the buyer’s 3 business days confirmation window.
Box size defaults come from the lot’s tray count and the category; the seller can correct them before the label is created. A rare pallet-sized lot goes by freight through the same order, arranged by staff.

Insurance
Declared value is the hammer price. The buyer pays the premium at checkout as its own line.

- of the declared value
- Minimum
- $3.50
- per shipment
- Required over
- $2,500
- optional below that value
Damage in transit is raised as a dispute on the order, like a short count, and decided on the evidence: the carrier’s record from the platform label, the declared value, the buyer’s photos of the box before it was opened and the seller’s packed-box photo. Neither side is left to argue with the carrier alone.
Packing to our standard
Packing server memory: the same checklist sellers see before they print the label.
Keep every module in an anti-static tray or bag. Loose DIMMs in a box are a dispute waiting to happen.
Stack trays no more than four high; put a layer of foam or bubble between stacks.
Fill the box so nothing moves when shaken. Use a new double-wall box; no bags or envelopes.
Put a copy of the packing list (lot number, quantity, part numbers) inside the box.
Photograph the packed box open and closed and upload it before you mark the order shipped. The photo is your evidence in any count or damage dispute.
Attach the platform label; do not reuse an old label or write over it. Direct signature is required on delivery.
- No loose modules
- No padded envelopes
- No mixed lots in one box
- No shipping before the order shows "Label ready"
Tracking and delivery
Scans are polled, not promised.
While a parcel is in transit the carrier is checked every 120 minutes; on the delivery day every 30 minutes. The delivery scan sets the delivered time and the confirmation deadline on the order, and a direct signature is required, so a person at the ship-to address has to sign.
What to do on delivery day, tray by tray, is on Receiving and confirming.
Late shipments
The windows are the seller’s, the remedies are the buyer’s.
No scan 1 business day after the label
The seller is reminded.
The 2 business days window lapses
Staff are alerted and the buyer may cancel from the order page for a full refund. Late shipping beyond grace earns the seller a strike; 3 strikes in 12 months ends an account.
Questions people ask
Who pays for shipping?
The buyer, at cost, as a line on the order chosen from the rated FedEx services at checkout. The seller never buys a label: the platform issues it to the seller once the payment has settled.
Can I ship with my own carrier account?
No. Every order ships on the label the platform issues, so tracking, the signature and the insurance are tied to the order and a dispute can be decided from the carrier record. Consignment inbound shipments also use a platform label, charged to the seller.
Is the shipment insured?
Declared value is the hammer price. Insurance is 1% of the declared value with a minimum of $3.50, charged to the buyer at checkout, and required on orders over $2,500.
Do you ship to Canada?
Yes. Buyers and sellers in US and CA trade on the site, and the label is issued for the verified ship-to address on the account. Cross-border duties and taxes, where they apply, are the importer’s.
What happens if the seller ships late?
1 business day after the label is issued with no carrier scan, the seller is reminded. Once the 2 business days window lapses, staff are alerted and the buyer may cancel for a full refund. Late shipping beyond grace earns the seller a strike.
How heavy is a tray of memory?
We estimate 0.06 lb per module plus 0.4 lb per tray and 1.5 lb of packaging. The estimator above does the sum; the seller can correct the box size before the label is created.
