Who this is for
Speed over price, with no surprises.
You need the trays gone and the cash in this week. You would rather have one firm number than an auction that might land higher or lower. Or the lot is small, mixed or below the listing minimum and not worth the work of listing. An outright sale is the shortest path on the site: a request, an offer, a label, a payment.
If the price matters more than the week, list it yourself or consign it: the same floor offer is waiting under every auction if the reserve is not met, so you lose nothing by trying the market first.
How the offer is priced
From two things you can check: the index and the inspection.
The index
The price index publishes the weekly median $/GB for each generation, module type and capacity from closed deals on this site. The offer starts there.
The inspection
The bench counts and grades what arrives: generation, capacity, condition, labels. An offer made before inspection is indicative and is confirmed on the count; the offer page says so in those words.
Published, not negotiated
ITAD Authority buys at its published prices and trades here as an ordinary house account: it cannot bid on its own lots and gets no early data. The offer you get is the offer everyone gets for the same modules.
How long it stands
Long enough to compare it, short enough to mean something.
An offer stands for 5 business days from the day it is made. In that time you can take it, decline it and list the lot yourself, consign it, or have the modules returned if they are already on the bench. Nothing is owed for declining.
The same offer is the floor under every auction: when a lot ends below reserve you have 48 hours to accept the high bid, take the floor offer, or relist. So a seller who lists first and takes the offer later is never worse off than one who took it straight away.
What happens after yes
Four steps, the last one is money.
We issue the inbound label
A FedEx label to the bench, insured for the declared value. Pack to our standard and hand it over.
The bench counts and grades it
Tray by tray, with intake photos. The signed count sheet is emailed to you; the offer is confirmed on the count.
You accept the confirmed offer
Or decline it within 5 business days and choose: list for me, or return.
ITAD Authority pays you
Directly, through its own purchasing flow, not through an auction order. The consignment page shows the offer, the acceptance and the payment.
Request a firm offer
Part numbers and counts are what price it; one per line is perfect. A person replies within one business day.
Questions people ask
Who is actually buying?
ITAD Authority, the company behind Memory Traders, buying for its own stock at its published prices. It trades on the platform as an ordinary house account: it cannot bid on its own lots and gets no early data.
How is the offer priced?
From the price index for the module and the inspection of what arrives: generation, capacity, grade and the count on the bench. An offer made before the goods are inspected is indicative and is confirmed on inspection; the offer page says so.
How long does the offer stand?
5 business days from the day it is made. Decline it and you can list the lot yourself, consign it, or have it returned.
When am I paid?
Once the modules are counted at intake and you accept the confirmed offer, ITAD Authority pays you directly through its own purchasing flow, not through an auction.
Is this the same as the floor offer on an auction?
Yes. Every approved lot in a category ITAD Authority buys shows an instant offer, and the same offer is waiting when an auction ends below reserve, so you have 48 hours to take it, accept the high bid, or relist.
